Mindful Life Counseling is a holistic private practice committed to serving adult individuals with marginalized identities. Rooted in mindfulness as a tool for decolonizing therapy, we strive to create a healing space that centers the experiences and voices of those often impacted by oppressive systems, particularly within traditional mental health spaces. We seek clinicians who value their own growth and self-reflection and who approach therapy with a deep respect for anti-oppressive mental health and the unique lived experiences of each client.
Great news! We’re welcoming new applicants starting January 2025.
(with a particular interest in therapists actively working toward licensure).
Hello! We’re looking for a psychotherapist actively working toward licensure to join our team. Supporting clinicians early in their careers is central to our mission.
In supervision, we:
- Explore how systemic oppression impacts all of us, including therapists, in a field rooted in colonized structures.
- Address decolonizing therapy, racial trauma, and systemic inequities as they show up in session.
- Hold space for you as both a person and a therapist navigating these dynamics.
We know that working toward licensure is a unique season in your career—it’s full of growth and learning, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. Our hope is to create a space where you feel supported, grounded, and able to thrive as you navigate this journey.
If this resonates with you, we’d love to connect!
